We Specialize In: Physical Therapy (including othropedic, total join programs, post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal pain and injuries, sports injuries and conditioning, and neurological conditions. Our highly skilled and personable therapists' primary focus is to assist you in your recovery process by (1) relieving your pain, (2) restoring you to full mobility and function, (3) providing education to help you maintain your rehab gains, and (4) providing strengh and wellness programs to help you achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle. Our physical therapy staff will treat movement dysfunctions/muscle imbalances that cause pain and interfere with your daily activities. The goal of your physical therapy treatment is to restore the environment of your body to allow tissue healing, restore full mobility, and provide neuromuscular re-education to maintain your rehab gains independently. Depending on your specific needs we may 'manipulate' a joint (performing passive movements at the end of your range of motion) or massage a muscle to promote proper movement and function. We may also use other modes of treatment such as exercise, electrotherapy, ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves that produce heat), hot packs, and ice, in addition to other treatments when appropriate. We will also work with you to prevent the loss of mobility by developing a wellness program for you that will promote a healthier and more active lifestyle.
