I recently took one of my small dogs for a nail trimming. Once she returned to me about 10 minutes later, my dog s eye was bloodshot and there was a knot on top of her head and growing. I took her straight to the vet who stated she suffered from a burst blood vessel. After I contacted PPS back, they said it was typical , it happens with all small dogs , and that I wasted my money by taking her to the vet. In my opinion, if it is so common, why didn t they say something before they took her back, during when she was upset and hard to control, or after when there was something obviously wrong with her. The vet instructed me that, if not treated, it could cause vision loss so it seems to be important to pet owners that they know this information and that it could happen if it s so typical .
