Three words: Unauthorized Bark Collars. Ask about it and watch the owner try to deny it. My dog was sent home with a bark collar on, without my prior knowledge of use or approval. They had no satisfactory explanation when I asked about it, very upsetting. I'll never send my dog there again and highly recommend that no one else does either. What kind of DOG DAYCARE is so intolerant of a barking dog that they put a SHOCK collar on it without an owners approval or consent?!?!?! What else is going on there? I'd never send my dog back there and highly recommend that others do a lot of research before leaving their dog in this heartless business owners care.

Pet Recess Inc in Middleborough is awful. Dirty, unsafe, unsanitary. The owner Julia is strictly in it for the money. I have first hand experience. When a dog gets injured, they use superglue to close the cut before the owners get there, never telling them of the injury. The workers are constantly on their phones, barely monitoring the dogs unless a large fight breaks out. The dogs are left alone, supposedly for naptime from 12-2, more like 11:30-2:30. If you go by there, you can just hear them barking and yowling for hours. Don't ever use her for overnite boarding. She goes away every weekend, leaving your dogs with inexperienced and immature workers. A few weeks ago, they lost a boarder for over four hours. You could see the frantic posting on their facebook page. The dogs owners found it themselves, running around a busy street a town away! If you think they're safe being boarded there, they're not. Also, she does not require immunization records, so plan on your dog getting kennel cough. The daycare facility is disgusting, rusty, dangerous, broken trampoline in the back, huge holes left unfilled, little dogs falling into them. When it rains it floods and she lets the dogs play in filthy water with dog feces floating in it. Three dogs recently sent home with bark collars on, which the owners knew nothing about. I would never entrust my dog to her.
