About us
Philip Wessinger, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with 30+ years in practice. Dr. Wessinger recently retired from surgery but continues to see and evaluate patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
A graduate of Furman University, he earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wake Forest University. He is a fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and has served as team physician for Wake Forest University, the Greenville Grrrowl professional hockey team and area high schools.
