About us
Piedmont Distillers was founded in 2005, marking a significant milestone in North Carolina's history as the first legal distillery since prohibition. Over the last decade, they have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of innovation and excellence, crafting unique, high-quality spirits that have earned them numerous awards. Their family of spirits, including Catdaddy Carolina Spiced Moonshine, Midnight Moon Moonshine and Moonshake Cream Liqueurs, Method + Standard Vodka, The Bobby Jones Clover Whiskey Collection, and MoShine by Nelly, is a testament to their unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
We are excited to announce that our retail store in Madison is now open to the public. Stop by and enjoy a complimentary moonshine tasting Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and on Friday from 9am to 1pm. Please note, the last walk-in tasting time is 15 minutes before closing.
