He is board certified in rheumatologyand internal medicine and specializes in treatingosteoporosis and fibromyalgia.Dr. Morano has been the recipient of severalawards including the Certificate of Appreciationand the Brooklyn Physician Leadership Awardfrom the New York Arthritis Foundation.He earned his degree from the Universityof Rome Medical School in Italy and servedinternships at Beekman Downtown Hospital andLaGuardia Hospital in New York. He completeda residency at Flushing Hospital Queens anda fellowship in rheumatology at Long IslandCollege Hospital in Brooklyn. He is fluent inEnglish and Italian.
