Polk Lock & Key in Charlotte is a bad businessman to deal with. He pulls the old scam of taking everything apart then claiming he needs to go buy a part. Once you give him money to purchase the part you never hear from him again. Within 10 minutes of giving him a check he cashed it. After of weeks of trying to get holdd of him we had other people call and they were able to get an immediate answer. When they said they were calling about us he hung up. We live on a fixed income and don't have much money. Both of us are disabled. We need our car to get around for doctor appointments, food, medications etc. He will not offer any solution cash refund, complete the job nothing. A friend had a GM certified mechanic come to our home and it took him and another GM certified mechanic 2 days to put our steering column back together as parts were missing and scattered all over the car. After getting things back together they found the trouble had nothing to do with the steering column he wanted to replace it was a part in the floor shifter. This cost us $200 that Polk lock & key ripped us off for and $300 plus parts for two mechanics to fix Polk's mess and fix the problem. Do yourself a favor and don't call this company for anything.
