About us
Doctors Portnoy and Tu were raised in Michigan and have been dentists in Okemos since 2005.
In their 21 years of practice, dentistry has evolved rapidly and seen constant advancement in technology. By staying abreast of these advancements, doctors Portnoy and Tu are able to bring the best of modern dentistry to Okemos.
We are able to detect fractures, cavities, infections, and other abnormalities in the same day using digital 3-D imaging (CBCT), instead of having to send you out to see other specialists. We are also able to fabricate crowns in our office to restore broken teeth in one visit, and we are able to do dental implants using surgical stents for more predictable results.
Advancements in technology also allow us to collaborate with sleep apnea physicians where treatment plans include the creation of custom-fitted sleep apnea dental devices.
