Mike H. Rubaiy, Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc.'s President, CEO, and Principal Engineer, is a Lamar graduate with degrees in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, and Structural Engineering. He has been a Professional Engineer and Registered Professional Land Surveyor for 40+ years working all over the country as well as at sea and internationally. But Beaumont has been his home for 50 years. When he opened his own firm, Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc. (PED, Inc.), he based it right here at home and the bulk of his work centers around the Gulf Coast.

Pyramid Engineers & Designers, Inc. (PED, Inc.) has very diversified professional experience with residential, commercial, industrial, petrochemical, offshore, structural, and land development projects in Beaumont and Houston, TX. PED, Inc. has completed several projects with the City of Houston: water projects, The Housing Authority of the City of Houston, HISD, Goose Creek ISD, and Metro. We also performed and completed two contracts for Engineering and As-Built Survey for the SPR Project in Winnie, TX. The project was owned by the Department of Energy during our late Congressman Jack Brook's tenure.
