Rachel Chir, LPC

Rachel Chir, LPC, is a behavioral health therapist with AHN Behavioral Health Institute who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. Her clinical interests include child and adolescent mental health, LGBTQ+, trauma, medical complexity, and school-based therapy. She sees patients from ages 14 to 24, focusing on supporting teens and young adults as they transition into adulthood.

Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pennsylvania, and earned her Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her preferred treatment modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Rachel is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
