About us
Rain or Shine Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue based in New York City. We provide safe, caring foster homes for dogs and cats that are most vulnerable in a shelter environment, such as senior and special-need animals and those in need of medical attention. We see them through rehabilitation and when they’re ready for adoption, match them with loving, committed adopters. We facilitate out-of-state adoptions and welcome fosters and volunteers across the Northeast to join our team!
