About us
Rajiv Iyer, MD is a pediatric neurosurgeon with a focus in pediatric spinal disorders and spasticity. Dr. Iyer is one of only a few pediatric spine surgeons in the U.S. with extensive training in spinal deformity care for children. Dr. Iyer treats patients with multiple types of scoliosis, kyphosis, craniocervical disorders, traumatic spinal disorders, tumors of the spinal column and spinal cord, spondylolisthesis, and disc herniations. He is involved in national research initiatives to better understand and improve the treatment of spinal conditions. He also treats patients with non-spinal disorders including hydrocephalus, brain tumors, tethered spinal cord, vascular disorders, congenital anomalies of the nervous system, and spina bifida.
