Dr. Raluca Vrabie is a highly skilled physician specializing in Gastroenterology. With a passion for providing the highest quality care to her patients, Dr. Vrabie holds a leadership role at Northwell Forest Hills Gastroenterology (Division Chief), and also sees patients at the Center for Advanced IBD Care in Great Neck, The Long Island Center for Digestive Health in Uniondale and Northwell Health Physician Partners Gastroenterology in Bay Shore.Dr. Vrabie completed her MD degree at the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She then went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at the same institution. Driven by a desire to further specialize in Gastroenterology, she pursued a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania focusing on this field.As an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Dr. Vrabie is dedicated to teaching and shaping the future of medicine. She is committed to medical education and shares her expertise with aspiring physicians, nurturing their growth and development.In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Vrabie actively engages in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives. She strives to make a positive impact in her community by raising awareness about Inflammatory Bowel Disease and promoting colon cancer screening.
