I am really frustrated with my experience with Rayne Sand and Gravel. I called to order gravel for my driveway. A gentleman came to measure and inform me of what I needed. Once he came out I was told I would receive a quote and I never heard anything. I called over the next three consecutive days and they never returned my calls. Eventually someone got back to me and I set up the appointment to drop and spread the gravel.
The gentleman showed up to deliver the gravel and told me he was going to drag it [spread it]. He ended up dumping 6 tons of gravel in a large pile. He also ended up ripping up my front yard. While he was dumping, my brother in law was yelling for him to stop and the driver ignored him. He tore up my yard with his truck and told me after he dumped it that the truck didn't work, which is why he didn't drag it. When I called to talk to the owner he said I was chewing his ass, like his wife I ended up hiring a bull dozer to help spread the gravel which was an addiitonal expense on top of their services. I am now trying to fix my front yard and the large ruts they left with their truck. They chewed up my grass and left a really big mess.
I am frustrated with their lack of customer service, the poor job that they did and the lack of care they had. Save yourself the headache, time and money and go with someone else. You wll be glad that you did.
