On the other hand, our experience when we sold our RV was quite different and I believe that their business practice was illegal. Once we sold our RV, I notified the owner and she reminded us about the 30 day notice that was needed before we vacate. We were paid for the current month and had given a deposit when we initially signed up. We then asked if she would prorate the next month which would be covered by the deposit as it was only the 2nd week of the currently paid month. She said yes because we were such good customers. She told us we would receive half of the deposit. So that meant that we were paid up for the remainder of the current month and then 1/2 of the next month would come out of our deposit to meet the 30 day notice to vacate.
