Rea Road Animal Hospital Logo At Rea Road Animal Hospital, we strive to strengthen the special bond between our patients and their owners through a warm bedside manner. Patients of Rea Road Animal Hospital can expect to be treated with warmth and clarity so that both animals and humans feel welcomed at our practice. We keep wait times to a minimum. If there is a short wait, have a seat in our comfortable and bright waiting area! We also carry a variety of prescription foods on-site! This sweet pup looks ready for a tip-of-the-nose to a tip-of-the-tail exam! Dr. Bryant uses a stethoscope to listen to a patient’s heart and lungs. Part of your pet's exam includes and dental exam. We check for dental disease, which is about more than just bad breath, but about your pet’s complete health! Oral bacteria puts pets at risk for painful teeth and gums, and more serious issues like organ damage. Another part of you pet’s physical exam includes checking the eyes for unusual coloration, discharge, proper light response, and more. Dr. Smith proceeds with her feline exam by checking this kitty's ears for signs of infection. We have some of the cutest patients! Dr. Smith draws a blood sample from a very cooperative patient! Kisses for a great pup! Speaking of blood draws, At Rea Road Hospital, we are proud to offer an in-house diagnostic laboratory for your pet’s health needs. Instead of sending lab tests to reference laboratories for analysis, our in-house laboratory allows our team to quickly test urine, fecal, and blood samples with accuracy. In addition, we are able to monitor every step of the testing process and interpret test results faster. Our technicians are trained to hold our patients so that pet's feel as safe and comfortable as possible. At Rea Road Animal Hospital, we understand the idea of your beloved pet undergoing surgery can be stressful and scary. Our clinical team will be here for you and your pet every step of the way, providing education around the surgery, offering comfort through the process, and extending the care and compassion you both deserve. Following the most stringent protocols in the industry, our veterinarians routinely conduct spays/neuters, dental surgery, and many, many other procedures for our patients. Our surgical staff is highly trained and thoroughly experienced in both routine and advanced surgical procedures. Ultrasound technology is used to get a better look at your pet’s internal organs, including the joints, muscles, and tendons, and can be helpful in identifying tumors, cysts, and heart conditions. In the past few decades, ultrasound technology has revolutionized veterinary medicine and is a safe, noninvasive procedure to identify concerns with your pet’s health.
