Reading In Preschool
Reviews
My 4 and 5 and a half year old's are very competitive with everything they do. When my 5 year old started learning his ABC's, my youngest had to do the same. I realized after researching the benefits of starting children reading at a young age, and listening to my kids compete about who knew more letters and getting frustrated that they couldn't read, that it was time for them to learn.
I found that there's one or two centers in the city that teach kids the basics of reading, but after learning about Reading In Preschool, I jumped at the chance for them to work with my kids. Liz from Reading In Preschool, comes 3 times a week to teach my kids and I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier.
She's great with the kids, they are making rapid progress, she comes to my apartment which is one less headache not having to bring the boys on another subway ride; and her prices are great too!
I can't imagine why a parent wouldn't want this for their kid. Little boys having fun reading? Who...
They say it's easier for little girls to get into reading than for boys, but my friends son who's just 3 years old, after 2 months of learning his letters and playing educational games with a teacher from Reading In Preschool, is READING! I don't think you have to be the typical NYC parent who thinks children need to learn to be at the top of their class, but I do believe in the importance of early childhood education, because of the confidence it brings a young child which I think is soooo important. This business is definitely worth checking out.
