The Reliance Controls Pro/Tran switch models can have up to 10 circuits and generators with a 50A 125/250V outlet (around 12,5000 watts), and the Panel or Link models are rated up to 200 amps. Panel models will act as service or feed through disconnects, stand-alone main panels, or subpanels that are rated up to a 31KW generator. Along with transfer switches, Reliance offers some more specialized transfer equipment for traffic signals, telecommunications sites, and other light commercial applications.

Reliance Controls transfer switch is an electrical device. It allows you for connecting a generator to your household wiring safely. This switch prevents the utility power and generator power from powering your household circuits at the same time. When the power goes out, simply plug the generator into the transfer switch and start it up & flip the switches from the utility power position to the generator position.
