About us
About 1030-1042 Polk 1030-1042 Polk was constructed in the immediate aftermath of San Francisco’s famous 1906 earthquake by prominent architect Thomas Paterson Ross – a man responsible for over 150 buildings across the Bay Area, including the Alcatraz Theatre and the Squire House. Known as the Baldwin Apartments, the building balances historic charm, modern amenities, & access to city staples from its ultra-accessible Lower Nob Hill location. With an easily recognizable blue and white color scheme and unique external accents, 1030-1042 Polk still manages to stand out over 100 years after its construction. An elevator & gated access are just some of the community amenities, while apartments offer hardwood floors, in-unit laundry, and more.
