Retina Consultants of Houston (RCH) in Scurlock Tower is the biggest ophthalmology center focused on retinas in southeast Texas with 14 offices and among the most respected in the country. Founded in 1988, RCH has years of collective expertise with the retina, vitreous, and macula. Although surgeries are only performed in hospitals, this center does implement diagnostic tests, imaging, laser therapies, and intravitreal injections by appointment in house. The RCH staff is committed to giving our patients, their families, and other medical professionals a world-class experience in treating retinal diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, retina detachment, ocular cancers, macular degeneration, and much more. RCH is run by respected ophthalmologists educated in leading universities in the country. This practice collaborates with the Greater Houston Retina Research Center to test new medications and treatments in clinical trials in a partnership that has generated beneficial research.
