About us
Richard Asher, PA is a physician assistant working with East Tennessee Cardiology Surgery Group. He was born and raised in Knoxville and attended the University of Tennessee for his bachelor's degree before going to South College for his master’s degree. When he is not practicing medicine, Rik enjoys going to football games, especially the Tennessee Volunteers and Tennessee Titans. “The greatest highlight of my job is taking the time to educate patients and addressing any concerns the patient and their family may have.”
