Dr. Richard Fields is an experienced podiatric physician with over 15 years of clinical practice dedicated to comprehensive foot and ankle care. He began his academic path at the University at Albany, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and developed a strong interest in medicine and biomechanics. Dr. Fields continued his graduate education at Pepperdine University, further strengthening his academic foundation before pursuing a medical career in podiatry.

He earned his medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he received extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity conditions. Dr. Fields completed his residency in podiatric orthopedics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, finishing in 2013. During his residency, he gained valuable experience in both surgical and nonsurgical management of complex foot and ankle disorders.

Dr. Fields holds board certification through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine with a focus on foot and ankle surgery. He maintains staff privileges at Northwest Medical Center, allowing him to provide continuity of care for patients requiring hospital-based treatment. Known for his attentive approach and commitment to patient education, Dr. Fields emphasizes individualized treatment plans designed to restore mobility, relieve pain, and improve long-term function.
