Ridgefield Animal Hospital has been a fixture in Thibodaux, Louisiana for over 35 years. Dr. Paul Seemann and Dr. Dawn Koetting have been co-owners since 1985 and moved the practice to its new facility in 1999. Dr. Natali Robichaux joined us as an associate in 2000, and in the partnership in 2007. Our associates Dr. Lane Breaux (LSU 2004), Dr. Ashley Baker (Kansas 2009), and Dr. Sarah Pitre (LSU 2008) round out our professional staff. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and with an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. We provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your companion animal. We understand the special role your dog, cat, exotic pet, or horse plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your companion animal's health care. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy animals. Regular exams allow early detection and treatment of disease as your companion animal ages. It is our commitment and priviledge to provide complete medical and surgical care, as necessary, for your companian animal during his or her lifetime. We also work closely with several regional referral hospitals to provide specialty care when it is required. What sets us apart... We are proud to provide our clients with 24 hour on-call emergency services. The doctors work regularly scheduled hours, but also rotate call duty so that our client's pets are seen locally if an emergency should arise after-hours and during holidays. Our practice philosophy is to provide our patients and clients with a health care team that strives to provide high quality, up to date medical and surgical care. We accomplish this through vigorous continuing education programs for our doctors and staff, and through providing educational information to our clients as well.
