Join us for our June Farmers Market. We will have Local vendors, Classes and Plants! This is a free event.
We will have local vendors (pies, sauce, homemade art and more), Classes happening at the store and lots of plants!

They grow a lot of #peonies at @MonroviaPlants (here's their #flowerfields in Oregon) so we figured we could call on them for tips on what to do if yours aren't blooming. They say:
1) Make sure they're planted in full sun. Lots of solar power goes into those big flowers!
2) If you are growing herbaceous peonies, they need a certain number of hours of winter chill. If last winter was too mild, you might not see the flowers you were hoping for.
3) Your peony is too young, or was just moved. The peonies that Monrovia sells are already mature enough to bloom the first year, but others make take a couple years to settle in.
