About us

Dr. Hancock is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery with added certification in Sports Medicine. He specializes in sports injuries concentrating on injuries to the shoulder, elbow and knee including arthroscopy and shoulder replacement. He has been a consultant for the UGA Athletics Department since coming to Athens in 1995. Dr. Hancock was born and raised in Georgia, growing up in Atlanta (Lakeside High School) and attending the University of Georgia. He enjoys all sports and outdoor activities including golf, hiking, running, and farming.
