Dr. Thorsness is a fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow surgeon specializing in reconstruction, replacement, and sports medicine. He treats rotator cuff disorders, dislocations, labral tears, fractures, and arthritis using advanced, minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques. For shoulder arthritis, he performs anatomic and reverse total shoulder replacements with modern, bone-preserving methods. Dr. Thorsness completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester and a prestigious shoulder and elbow fellowship at Rush University in Chicago.
