About us
Robert Williams Mardi Gras Madness was born as a result of long years of dreams, special talent, and hard work. At 8 years of age l began constructing hand-crafted floats from a shoe box, paper, glue and paint. After years of attending Mardi Gras parades and observing every angle and picking up the smallest details of various floats. l constructed a miniature version of a double deck Mardi Gras float. l used the pattern to create and transformed it to a float kit that can be assembled for kids. The excellent reception my float received fired my ambition to own a business specializing in custom handmade New Orleans style miniature Mardi Gras single, double deck and tandem floats.
