About us
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I started my career as a Registered Nurse after graduating from University of Kansas, School of Nursing in 1991. I received degrees as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing Administration in 2003; then went on to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021. I have enjoyed and worked in many diverse areas including Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Hospitalist, Family Medicine and Psychiatry.
My work experiences have been mainly in rural areas with limited access to health care. This has kindled a desire to provide every person access to affordable, quality mental health care, no matter where they may be located.
