“The primary goal in not only my career, but life in general, is to be able to say that I made a difference in someone else’s life. Counseling is not just about talking to individuals; but equipping them with the skills to handle life’s problems. Helping others is my passion and I desire to use my skills and potential to touch as many lives as I can”.

Rochelle is licensed by the state of Texas as a professional counselor. She has successfully passed the NCE and has been practicing in the counseling field for the past several years, working to help improve the lives of others, one person at a time. She received her Master’s degree from Texas A&M University Commerce in Counseling, and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Rochelle has extensive experience providing counseling services to all ages, including children and adolescents. She has worked with individuals from different races, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, providing cultural sensitivity, as well as individualized therapy. She is experienced in working with individuals in crisis situations, including behavioral issues and suicidal ideation. Her specialties include family conflict, depression, anxiety, abuse victims, sexual assault, mental illness, and behavioral and school related issues.

Rochelle understands that it is a huge step embarking on a therapeutic journey. It takes great courage to meet with a stranger and discuss your most intimate and personal issues. Realizing this, she is very compassionate and empathetic and goes the extra mile to ensure client’s comfort, respect, safety, and appreciation. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, making sure that clients have an active role in each part of their treatment, as well as keeping the lines of communication open at all times.
