You couldn't do much worse than Rocky Mountain Defenders: I hired Rocky Mountain Defenders to do prefiling work to try and head off a criminal investigation and possible criminal charges. They happily took my $4600, gave me words of encouragement and then disappeared of the face of the earth!

Although I have had a couple of conversations with my attorney, Kevin, these conversations were a real struggle to arrange. I essentially had to pretend to be a new customer to get a call back from this guy. And now, he just flat out refuses to communicate in any way.

RMD's prefiling work is a complete con: They have done absolutely nothing to work my case beyond checking for warrants daily using the wrong name. (I can perform this check myself online for free--using the CORRECT name.)

And what kind of attorney takes your money, fails to respond to every single voice and text messages left over the course of more than 6 months and leaves you twisting in the wind wondering what your future legal fate will be?

This is nothing more than a fly-by-night operation that is perfectly willing to take your money but doesn't have your back. The last thing you want during a critical time in your life is an attorney who refuses to communicate with you, and I wouldn't recommend putting your legal fate in the hands of a legal team that loves your cash but doesn't care one bit about your personal well being. And by the way, although RMDs stole $4600 from me, my new legal team is phenomenal! You can do way better than RMDs.
