About us
Dr. Omron is an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine.After completing residency in emergency medicine at The George Washington University, Dr. Omron worked at Hurley Medical Center and the University of Michigan as a clinical professor. Dr. Omron joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2010. He is currently physician in charge of simulation and is co-director of resident evidence-based medicine. He was awarded Academic Teacher of the Year and the Internal Medicine (Osler) House Staff Teaching Award, both in 2015.Dr. Omron’s research interest is in the education of physical exam skills that change practice.
