Melanie Palmietto, LPC, LMHC and owner of Rooted Healing LLC is a trauma informed licensed mental health counselor. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Springfield College in Massachusetts and Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Melanie found her passion working for herself in her outpatient psychotherapy practice specializing in somatic experiencing.

Somatic experiencing is a body based approach to trauma healing, stress reduction, and so much more. You will better understand what your body is communicating to you and gently release what the body has stored from past experiences. This is a collaborative process that fosters safety, connection, understanding, and value.
