About us
Rosa Langella, MD, FACS, has special interests in breast cancer genetics, prevention strategies, oncoplastic breast reconstruction, and 'prehabilitation'education. Most notably, she is the founder of Breast Cancer Thrive charity which provides, among other services, community access to pre- and post-op breast cancer recovery classes. She also founded and maintains the Mountainside Breast Cancer Support Group. Dr. Langella has received numerous academic and community awards for her skill and empathy as a surgeon. She has been serving the North Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina communities since 1999, and is committed to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art breast cancer care to all of her patients. Dr. Langella welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
