Dr. Kelvin Barry attended Brooklyn College where he majored in Biological sciences earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He was actively involved in many student and community organizations, and held several leadership positions. Dr. Barry then received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he was also actively involved in multiple student organizations and held a few leadership positions.From 2004-2007 he was a podiatric surgical resident at Interfaith Medical Center, where he performed over 1,200 surgical procedures. Dr. Barry has received extensive training in all ailments and bio-mechanical disorders affecting the lower extremity. Three years of clinical experience in the clinic, hospital, and private office setting. Three years experience of foot surgery (reconstructive and trauma), wound care, and primary podiatric foot and ankle medicine and orthopedics. Also have some hands on in general surgery, plastic surgery, and orthopedic surgery.With over eight years of private practice experience in New York City, Dr. Barry is a licensed and board certified podiatric physician and surgeon who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of all foot and ankle conditions. He specializes in surgical correction of bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, to and fractures of the foot, congenital deformities, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, trauma and sports related injuries.
