Dr. Schumacher completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and his residency at the University of Texas-Southwestern.
