Rubio's in Coronado has the best fish tacos ever! I'm pretty sure they originated them in Baja decades ago and brought it up here. The fish tacos are all I get here. Particularly on Taco Tuesday's when they're a buck fifty!
I always bring foreigners and visiting friends and family there if they haven't had a proper fish taco. This particular Rubio's is boss too because it's a test kitchen and it has a special hotsauce they put out which is more like taco truck salsa that you see in Mexico
