About us
Dr. Yemane is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with the LGBTQ+ Health Program and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She offers full-spectrum gynecologic care and specializes in caring for people who identify as gender and sexual minorities. She prepares personalized, comprehensive care plans, delivered with compassion.
Dr. Yemane’s research interests include expanding access to safe obstetric and gynecologic care for LGBTQ+ populations. One of her noteworthy studies examined perceptions and patterns of cervical cancer among women in the patient population.
