FEATURED STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Please help me congratulate our featured students from Southaven High School for January. I had lunch with them (thanks Chick-fil-A Southaven and had a chance to get to know their accomplishments and future plans. Shiloh Hatch is a graduating senior at SHS and a member of the women's basketball team, powerlifting team, and track and field team, where she throws shot put). She plans to attend Itawamba Community College and hopes to play basketball at the next level. She enjoys sewing and helping her church with projects for those that are less fortunate. Amare Robinson is a graduating senior and a member of the track and field team as well as the men's basketball team, where he’s a standout defensive player. He plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and hopes to play basketball in college as well. They will now be eligible to win the Ryan T. England State Farm "Chosen Charger" Scholarship. Two students will be selected from the monthly recipients and will receive a $1,500 scholarship at the Awards Day in May of 2024.

Seems like the best day to me!

Don't know about you but we are looking foward to Spring! As most were on spring break last week what did you do? Anything fun?

With nice weather brings out our friends on two or three wheels! Make sure to look twice before swapping lanes!

This year marks the 14th student that my Family / Agency gets to honor with a scholarship at Northpoint Christian School, and now over $20,000 in scholarships given on that campus. This year's recipients lifted the bar even higher. Congratulations to Julia Cook and Charlie Parolli. They will both receive $1,500 to help defray the first year costs of college. These are two fantastic individuals with a very bight future ahead of them!

I rounded out my Teacher Appreciation for the 2023-2024 School Year this past Friday with my friends over at Horn Lake Middle School Another great group of educators who love their students and are passionate about their #famiHLy of Eagles. Keep up the great work and enjoy your well-deserved summer! Hug a teacher sometime this week! ☺️

SCHOLARSHIP DOLLARS! As we conclude the 2023-2024 School Year, I wanted to congratulate our scholarship winners from Southaven High School. Throughout the year I met with qualifying applicants for the "Chosen Charger Scholarship" and after final selections were made by our committee, ZACH KOLWYCK was our young man that received a $1,500 scholarship. I was proud to present him with his scholarship at the SHS Awards Banquet held recently in their gym. Many thanks to Principal Adam Sikes and Athletic Director Wes Pounds for their help and coordination at Southaven High. This now brings our scholarship total to $6,000 given to deserving high school seniors for this school year!
