Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital Logo The hospital is open six days a week, and is one of the very few practices whose doctors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week—in person during the day and by telephone after hours, for emergency advice. Hospitalized patients are cared for seven days a week as well as on holidays. Our reception area is staffed with team members happy to assist our clients and patients. The front office team keeps our hospital team organized and ready for daily appointments. Our waiting has ample seating, but we don’t like to keep our clients waiting long! Just like us, weight and body condition is a big part of our pet's overall health. With the abundance of veterinary diets in the market today, it is often confusing to know which diet is the best for your pet. Our doctors are happy to make recommendations for wellness as well as specialized prescription diets to insure that your pet is getting exactly what he or she needs to live a long and healthy life. Part of our patients wellness exam is to check the ears, and this adorable pooch was a great patient for Dr. Gary Yarnell as he conducted the ear exam. One of the first things you will notice at our hospital is that our doctors and technicians are trained to get a complete history of your pet’s condition before the actual hands-on exam. This systematic exam of your pet helps insure that no problem is overlooked, even those which you, the owner, may be unaware. Pets today can live longer, healthier lives than ever before, in part because of vaccines that help protect them from deadly infectious diseases. Here at Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital, we'll determine which vaccines are right for your pet. Yes, we see exotics.
