About us

Sabrina René, M.D., has been a board-certified Endocrinologist since 2000. She joined Piedmont Physicians Endocrinology in 2008. Dr. René was the only endocrinologist affiliated with The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Southeastern Division from 2013 to 2018. She has given numerous talks throughout Georgia and Florida addressing the management of thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus and its precursor insulin resistance. In 2017, Dr. Rene was named, “Top Doctors of America” in the field of endocrinology. She volunteers at the Coweta Samaritan Clinic on a quarterly basis. Dr. René is a member of The American Diabetes Association, The Endocrine Society, The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The National Medical Association and The Atlanta Women’s Medical Alliance. Dr. René is married and lives in Newnan. Her hobbies include travel, music, arts and yoga. She has sung in her church choir and is active in promoting wellness throughout the community.
