About us

Salam I. Gharaybeh, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric nephrologist treating various disorders and diseases that affect the kidney and urinary tract. She believes in building strong, professional relationships with her patients, their families, and other caretakers. As part of her commitment to providing exceptional care, she looks forward to helping her patients understand their conditions through education, open communication, and empathy.
Gharaybeh completed medical school in 1991 at Jordan University of Science and Technology, followed by her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997. In 2000, she completed her fellowship program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Her professional memberships include the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the American Society of Nephrology.
She is fluent in English and Arabic. Outside of work, Gharaybeh enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family.
