My name is Dr. Samantha Montealegre, PMHNP-BC. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric Care Florida, LLC in Boynton Beach. For over ten years, I have worked in L&D, NICU, Antepartum and Postpartum taking care of mothers, fathers, and infants before, during and after the birth process. I have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Perinatal Bereavement, Maternal Newborn Nursing, and Postpartum Depression in Fathers. My aim is to help new parents understand that mind and body are linked and help them achieve a balance of physical and emotional well-being.
