Sarah Assali, DO earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, Pa., and completed her general surgery residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pa. Dr. Assali has a special interest in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery and is DaVinci certified in robotic surgery. Her clinical interests include hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction. She also performs endoscopic procedures, such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. She has authored several publications, abstracts and scholarly blogs. Dr. Assali is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
