Dr. Maribel Santos-Cordero is a board-certified pediatric dentist who has helped children release their tongue ties for over 20 years. Dr. Maribel Santos-Cordero was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She earned a DMD degree from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Dental Medicine with high honors and has been practicing dentistry since 1994. Dr. Santos-Cordero completed her residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, NY. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American Laser Study Club. She is a certified laser surgeon and has specialized training in the treatment of lip & tongue ties, oral myology, and the treatment of children with sleep related breathing disorders (SRBD). She is a member in good standing of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the International Affiliation of Tongue-Tie Professionals, and the American Dental Association.
