About us

Built in 1885 by Sea Captain Calvin C. Howes, Scargo Manor Bed and Breakfast is situated on 3 acres of land on Scargo Lake in the historic district of Dennis, Massachusetts. Inside, find delight in a beautifully preserved sea captain's home and the captivating collection of art and antiques.

Our location in "The Heart of Cape Cod," Massachusetts, makes it easy to explore the unique beauty of The Cape on day trips to Provincetown, Falmouth, or by Ferry to the Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. If you care to relax and spend a day nearby, you are in walking distance of Dennis Village, Corporation and Mayflower Beaches, antique shops, art galleries, museums, pottery studios and gift shops, for that special memory to take home.

Charm and comfort abound in our spacious, individually decorated Cape Cod suites and rooms, each furnished with a cozy bed and a private bath. The entire Inn has Wi-Fi Internet access, and we offer guests the ability to use our complimentary kayaks, peddle boat, canoe, bicycles and yard games.
