Anne Schulte was the attorney representing my child’s mother in a recent custody hearing. While I represented myself for the duration of the custody dispute I was later forced to hire an attorney to protect me from Ms. Schulte as she developed an unreasonable fixation. Without her client’s knowledge or approval Ms. Schulte submitted a $1400 bill of legal fees to the court and, on her client’s unknowing behalf, attempted to sue me for it, despite previously claiming via court documents that she was taking on her client’s case pro bono. I was ordered to pay $700 of this bill along with a $1000 bond for not attending the hearing. I was not in attendance because the summons was post marked as being mailed after the date of the hearing had already passed, I do not know what, if any involvement Ms. Schulte had with this however I feel it is worth noting. Since I was in contact with my child’s mother, Ms. Schulte’s client, while trying to sort this out I was told by her that not only did she not pay Ms. Schulte for her services, she had not initiated any processes to collect the alleged $1400 worth of legal fees nor had received any sort of summons pertaining to it.
