Dr. Sean T. Ganther, DDS, PhD is a clinician-scientist originally from Pasadena, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology with a minor in Analytical Chemistry from California State University, San Bernardino, and completed his combined DDS/PhD training at the University of California, San Francisco, one of the most competitive dental-research programs in the world. His doctoral research focused on periodontal disease, oral cancer, and the relationship between oral and systemic health using advanced functional genomic and epigenetic techniques. Dr. Ganther’s clinical interests include implant placement and restorations, dental-medical research, and comprehensive care. He is passionate about integrating basic science discoveries and emerging clinical technologies into modern dental practice, with a commitment to innovation, precision, and personalized, evidence-based patient care.
