I grew up in this church and I can say from experience, that if you're looking for a church service that feels more like a Republican political rally, than a worship service, this is your place. Attendance at SFGC has been in steady decline since the Galls moved to Maine, but they still appeal to the homophobes and anti choice crowd. In addition, you can count on them having something positive to say about their fellow Texan, George W. Really, isn't Jesus more concerned about the rights of gays and lesbians, than all the Maine residents who are in foreclosure, struggling to pay their heating bills, and uninsured?
