Shakiya is a board certified psych NP w/over 10 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed w/psychiatric disorders. Shakiya's practice focuses on the treatment of PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD & psychotic disorders.
Shakiya's style is solution-oriented, open-minded & promotes empowerment. Shakiya utilizes a holistic model to provide inclusive care to all. This includes modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness & psychoanalysis; all with the aim to help manage your symptoms, cope with life changes & modify any counterproductive behaviors in order to live a more fulfilling & joyous life.
