Shauna Burrell, owner and Accountant at Burrell Accounting Services, LLC dba Burrell Tax Solutions in Metairie, LA.

BS in Accounting from NSU Thibodaux. Before starting my practice, in 2009, for over 10 years I worked as a Budget and Contract Manager for a government program and oversaw a budget of 40 million +.
Through my years of experience, I have acquired a vast understanding of taxes and business. Which include formation, business development, budgets, business operations, or how to properly maintain books. Having this knowledge I’m able to guide you on how to properly manage your finances, thereby making you informed on all the tax laws available for you as a small business owner or individual taxpayer.
I am a native New Orleanian, and my goal as a tax professional is to ensure my clients are properly informed and advised. I am a very thorough person and pride myself on being an effective communicator.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, reading books, supporting local businesses, and studying the history of New Orleans and its historic homes.
